Rehydrating our landscapes

A unifying way forward for climate, biodiversity, forests and farms.

Main Hall

3:30 PM – 3:50 AM

Reducing carbon emissions is failing to address the climate crisis and must be supplemented by other means. The most promising and life-affirming approach is to restore nature’s climate regulating system; the water cycle driven by soils, vegetation, clouds and rain.

Join us for an inspiring session with Rod Mitchell (National Chair of Citizens’ Climate Lobby and local Denmark advocate) as he introduces the “Hydrate Denmark” movement. Discover how protecting our forests and wetlands, regenerating healthy soils, and keeping water in our landscapes can cool our region, boost local rainfall, and bring our community together to safeguard our shared future.
