Wannang Biridge is an audio-visual artwork developed at The Farm Margaret River, a working rural property on ancestral Wardandi Noongar land that supports artists through residencies, studio spaces, and programs connecting creativity with nature and community.

Artists Martine Perret and Roly Skender collaborated with Wardandi women Mitchella Hutchins, Vivian Brockman Webb, Mabenan and Majinda Hutchins to celebrate the sacred feminine significance of the Peppermint Tree (Wannang).

Originally projected onto The Farm’s iconic Peppermint Tree in 2022, the work weaves light, sound, and Wardandi language to celebrate the deep connections between Country, culture, and women’s knowledge. The work premiered at UNESCO in Paris to open the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (2022–2032), sharing Wardandi stories and song with the world.
